Violence: Some fantasy/action fighting and peril, as well as some injuries and bloody scenes in her day-to-day life as a paramedic.

Language: Some swearing.

Drugs: None

Parents’ advisory: This is OK for older kids and teens.

'BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE'

Rated PG-13 for marijuana use and smoking throughout, some violence and brief strong language.

What it’s about: A biopic of the iconic reggae singer focusing on the years from 1976-78 as he writes "Exodus" and contends with political unrest in his native Jamaica.

The kid attractor factor: Not much — this is more of an adult drama. But some younger fans of Marley may be interested.

Good lessons/bad lessons: Never forget who you are and your guiding principles.

Violence: A shooting, some political violence, beating, etc.

Language: Some swearing and strong language.

Sex: None

Drugs: Extensive on-screen marijuana use — it's a movie about rastas after all.

Parents’ advisory: This is fine for older kids if they are interested in Marley, though there are some more mature themes about political violence and unrest.
