The Golden Knights gave up two goals in the final 2:22 and lost, 4-3, to the host Tampa Bay Lightning at Amalie Arena on Thursday.

Lightning forwards Brandon Hagel and Nikita Kucherov scored 1:27 apart to turn a 3-2 deficit for the Lightning into a 4-3 lead. Kucherov scored the game winner with 54 seconds remaining.

Defenseman Brayden McNabb, left wing Ivan Barbashev and right wing Pavel Dorofeyev scored for the Knights. Goaltender Adin Hill made 21 saves in the loss, the team’s second straight to begin a three-game road trip.
