This evening gown is … a lot, but in a good way

Sometimes less is more … and, sometimes, more is pretty great.
This creamy gown, from the Thom Browne Haute Couture Fall-Winter 2024-2025 collection presented late last month in Paris, has rather a lot going on: all those vintage-y buttons down the front, the little capelet, whatever that situation is in the back involving swoops and swirls and flowers, the bathing-cap-ish headpiece, that circular fan (or whatever it is) that the model is holding.
Impractical, for sure, and yet strangely gorgeous; it’s like an entire novel in clothing form.
