How to Look Younger: 5 Awesome Tips

Published in Health Articles

Are you getting aging anxiety? There’s nothing wrong with aging, but that doesn’t stop people from scrambling to figure out how to look younger.

Looking younger is sometimes up to genetics, but there are a few things that you can do to help. Keep reading to learn all about how to stay young as you age.

1. Exercise

Did you know that exercise will make you look and feel younger? Not enough people put enough time and effort into their workout routines!

When you exercise, you improve your blood circulation. You’ll give yourself more energy and better overall health. Exercise also clears your pores and nourishes your skin cells.

All adults should get a minimum of 150 minutes per week of moderate aerobic activity. A good exercise routine will change (and extend) your life.

2. Protect Your Skin from Sunlight

The sun is one of the worst things for your skin and it’s unavoidable. You can, however, minimize damage by taking steps to protect your skin when you can.

Any time you plan on going outside or spending time near windows, you should wear sunscreen. You should replace your sunscreen every few hours. Regardless of the weather, it never hurts to wear sunscreen (that’s right, even if it’s snowing).

When you’re not intentionally spending time in the sun, wear clothing that covers your skin and a hat to protect your face.

3. Find The Right Skincare Routine

If you haven’t established a skincare routine aside from washing your face, now is the time to do it. Find the right skincare routine for your body and you’ll notice a difference right away.

We suggest starting with a mild retinol serum, some vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, and a good moisturizer. For your nighttime routine, consider adding an emollient.

If you’re willing to go all-out, try a Korean multi-step skincare routine for glowing skin.

4. Eat Well

Eating the right foods will keep you looking healthy and refreshed as you get older. Sugar and other simple carbohydrates can cause the collagen in your skin to break down. Processed foods, fried foods, alcohol, and even coffee can damage your skin over time.

You don’t have to omit any “bad” foods from your diet, but try to balance them out with fresh produce and lean protein.

5. Use Supplements

While you’re adjusting your diet, consider adding supplements. There are plenty of things that you can add that can help with the aging process.

Many people like taking biotin, vitamin A, vitamin C, and protein supplements to keep themselves looking younger and healthier. You can also use pre-assembled supplements, like vegan collagen boost capsules from Rae Wellness. They were Voted Best Anti Aging Supplement by Harpers Bazaar.

That’s How to Look Younger The Right Way

Taking care of your health and wellness is the best way to figure out how to look younger without resorting to expensive cosmetic procedures. Healthy living and a few small changes will make a huge difference.

Start taking care of yourself today and look younger well into your old age!
