Lunar Journey Through Libra

Holiday Mathis on

In the final stretch of a Libran lunar influence, we are shaped by our attractions. From the pull of an atom's nucleus to the twist of a galaxy, attraction spins the universe. What force influences you now? What sphere of influence do you orbit? Today is a check-in point in which you may rethink how you harness your own power to attract.

ARIES (March 21-April 19). Mental flexibility and a lack of ego allow you to explore various perspectives, and much to your benefit. If you dream that the fates are on your side, you'll uncover evidence of that as well.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). You'll be tuned into the communication styles and tones used by those around you. It will be lucky to reflect on how your own tone compares and identify areas for adjustment so your intended message aligns with the tone you use.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). Most people don't enjoy serving the person who sits around making requests, but that's never been your style anyway. You're purposeful and actively trying to make things happen. Someone will extend themselves on your behalf.

CANCER (June 22-July 22). Homer said, "Whoever obeys the gods, to him they particularly listen." You've paid your dues and you've honored and respected the hierarchy. You'll be rewarded for it.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). Don't think; just do. It's not because you should be impulsive. It's because you've already thought, and there is no amount of theoretical knowledge that can give you the experience. Take action.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). It's a day to commit to one way, method, task, lane... and stick with it until the next juncture. Once you decide that you've decided, mental chatter settles. You get centered. The world moves to support the force of you.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). There is music in everything around you today from the hum of traffic to the tip-tap of a dog's paws on the tile or the hopeful digital blip of a text message. Your ears open to sounds that, in turn, open your heart.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). Making money has more to do with finding a niche and working it than it does to any kind of luck. If you let it, your special interest will lead the way, helping you find the groove that will connect you to new people and resources.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). You once attended a goal like an avid fan and spectator of the sport. Now you're in the game. An instinct to take the competition kicks in. Every experience galvanizes your nerves, which are slowly turning to steel.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). You feel somehow older, or at least more mature than people around you who are squabbling like children on a playground. You'll bring about the resolution, either by excusing yourself from the drama or by blowing the proverbial whistle

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). You avoid setting relationships up as purely transactional. In fact, you're so busy appreciating the many facets of a person that it doesn't even occur to you what might be in it for you.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). Knowing that whatever you feed will grow, you'll feed your optimism, your creativity and your soul. People will love to help you today too, especially when they understand why you need the help.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (Sept. 6). Your perspective will open, and so will your world. Your confidence in your powers of attraction is warranted, and you'll keep proving how effectively you can manifest your wishes, even the odd, outrageous and unlikely ones. More highlights: You'll put ideas into action with the help of a mentor. Family makes you so proud. Music and love will fill your year. Cancer and Scorpio adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 29, 26, 1, 11 and 19.
