Chance the Rapper's estranged wife Kirsten Corley has filed for divorce.
The 31-year-old hip-hop star - whose real name is Chancelor Bennett - and his spouse announced in April that they had split up, and now, according to TMZ, she filed divorce papers to officially terminate their marriage on Friday (13.12.24).
At this time, it's not known if Kirsten is seeking spousal support for their children, Kensli, nine, and five-year-old Marli.
Chance tied the knot with influencer Kirsten in 2019, but the pair revealed that they "amicably" decided to end their marriage.
The former couple said in a joint Instagram statement: "After a period of separation, the two of us have arrived at the decision to part ways.
"We came to this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together.
"God has blessed us with two beautiful daughters who we will continue to raise together.
"We kindly ask for privacy and respect as we navigate this transition. Thank you. Chance Kirsten."
Chance and Kristen have known each other since they were children.
They first started dating in 2013 and welcomed their first child two years later.
They split briefly in 2016 but soon reconciled and he proposed in 2018.
Months after they walked down the aisle, they welcomed their second child.
Chance previously spoke about his relationship with Kirsten and how grateful he was to be raising children with her.
He told PEOPLE: "I've been waking up daily with a newfound gratitude and being very grateful that I'm married right now. The fact that me, my daughters and my wife all live in one house together is a huge, huge blessing, so I've just been taking that in."
