SEATTLE — Charlotte “Bowie” Drozd, daughter of the Flaming Lips’ multi-instrumentalist Steven Drozd, has been found and is safe, Seattle Police said Tuesday morning.

“[S]he’s found and is safe … her mother has spoke with her..,” the Flaming Lips’ bandleader Wayne Coyne posted on Instagram. “THANK YOU everyone for all your posts and all your networking and all your support and all your skills and all your trust and all your LOVE !!!”

The prominent Oklahoma City rock band had performed Friday at Climate Pledge Arena as part of Weezer’s Blue Album anniversary tour. Charlotte, 16, had last been seen near the Space Needle Saturday morning.

“There’s no criminal investigation that we’ve conducted, there’s no kidnapping report that’s been filed, nothing like that. So it’s a standard missing juvenile case,” Seattle police spokesperson Officer Eric Muñoz told The Seattle Times on Monday.

The Flaming Lips are scheduled to perform Tuesday as the tour continues in Sacramento, California.
