MIAMI — A man was shot to death in Broward on Thanksgiving Day, deputies say. A person was detained in connection to the shooting.
Shortly after 3:30 p.m. Thursday, the man was gunned down on the 2800 block of Somerset Drive in Lauderdale Lakes. He was dead when first responders arrived.
Neither the victim nor the person detained have been identified. Local 10 reports that the shooting stemmed from a dispute over loud music.
The Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies and Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue responded to the scene.
