2025 Buick Enclave is a chart-topping redesign
Published in Business News
Buick has made great strides in recent years, and 2025 is no different. The division of General Motors has made exceptional revisions in the latest refresh of its flagship vehicle, the Enclave. Our 2025 Buick Enclave Sport Touring tester was outstanding, comfortable and nicely equipped. The redesign included an array of nicely chosen upgrades while still earning its reputation for delivering great bang for the buck.
Powering our new release was GM's popular 2.5-liter turbo dual-overhead cam, four-cylinder engine, which produces 328 horsepower with 326 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The Enclave was outstanding on both the highway and back roads, with its structure, suspension, spaciousness, quiet ride and easy-to-use interior. At a base price under $50,000, the Enclave certainly checks a lot of boxes. With its historic plush finishes, Buick has gone sporty in most recent years while maintaining comfort and design at the forefront.
As the Enclave has been a staple of the GM fleet for a while, it's no surprise that it shares platforms with the Chevrolet Traverse. But with its own added finishes, the Enclave attracts an array of consumers. The Enclave offers three models: the Preferred, Sport Touring (which we tested) and the highest class, the Avenir. Our Sport Touring was stout and definitely a good choice for sampling the range of what the Enclave offers.
In Grasso’s Garage, Buick had fell from favor for many years as the brand struggled to get its designs right, but since 2024 Buick has been hitting the nail on the head. The Enclave illustrates the point nicely. Keeping the base price under $50K, while providing seating for 7, delivering stylish design and comfort, not to mention easy-to-use infotainment, Buick has delivered what is easily a chart topper.
