ST. LOUIS — Stifel Financial Corp. on Monday announced it will acquire an investment bank focused on European health care and technology companies.

Terms of the deal with Paris-based Bryan, Garnier & Co. was not disclosed, but Stifel said in a release that the acquisition will boost its growth in the health care and technology sectors.

Bryan, Garnier & Co. advises on mergers, acquisitions and private and public growth financing. It employs about 200 people.

"This combination is a logical next step in the evolution of Stifel’s global advisory business,” Stifel Chairman and CEO Ronald Kruszewski said in a statement.

Stifel reported $1.2 billion in net revenues in the third quarter of 2024, an increase of $200 million over the same period last year.

The company is based in downtown St. Louis.
