'ORDINARY ANGELS'

Rated PG for thematic content, brief bloody images and smoking.

What it’s about: The true story of a community rallying around a young girl in need of a liver transplant, and how helping others is the best way to help ourselves.

The kid attractor factor: Not much, this is more of an adult family drama.

Good lessons/bad lessons: Putting others before yourself can be transformative; try and allow yourself to accept and receive help.

Violence: Some dramatic images of sick children, perilous situations, bloody medical images.

Language: None

Sex: None

Drugs: Extreme binge drinking and smoking.

Parents’ advisory: OK for older kids and teens. Perhaps not of interest to younger ones.

'DRIVE-AWAY DOLLS'

Rated R for crude sexual content, full nudity, language and some violent content.

What it’s about: A pair of lesbian friends hit the road in a rental car with a secret stash in the trunk, sparking an interstate pursuit.

The kid attractor factor: Not much for this randy crime caper.

Good lessons/bad lessons: Always check the trunk!

Violence: Some bloody beatings and shootings.

Language: Swearing throughout.

Sex: Extremely crude and candid lesbian sex throughout.

Drugs: None

Parents’ advisory: This is way too sexually mature for kids. Older teens only.
