Like many people, you would like to be able to have guests at your home, but you're on a limited budget. Maybe you only have a small amount of space available to house a guest. Or maybe you don't even have an extra bedroom available. If any of these things are true, you can still provide a guest bed for people who stay in your home.

You don't have to spend a lot to have guest beds in your home. One option is to buy a small single bed frame and an economy-grade mattress with box spring. If you will be needing to accommodate couples, likewise it isn't hard to find a double bed frame option within your budget. Check online sellers and wholesale bed outlets for discount items at a price that suits you.

If you do not have enough space available, guest beds are also available and these beds will be suitable for your needs. You should think about buying a fold-out bed or maybe a futon. These types of beds are very comfortable and do not cost very much, and can also be put in areas which have little space. When you are not using them you can fold them up and keep them out of the way, these beds make a good choice for a dual-purpose room - for instance, a den which can be doubled as a guest room.

Finally, if you don't have a guest bedroom or a spare room, there are guest beds called trundle beds that may be a great option for you. These are small, yet comfortable spare beds that fold out of the bottom of a traditional bed. They tuck away out of the way when not in use, so they won't clutter up your bedroom or child's bedroom.

Little futons or actually futon chairs may be a choice for people who don't have any extra rooms. This looks like regular furniture when you are not using it and it can sit in your living room and be unfolded when you need it. A futon chair is very cozy, with the same measurements as a twin bed when it is unfolded, fitting into a tiny space.

If you often put your guests to bed on a floor in a sleeping bag, or pull out an annoying air mattress that is difficult to fill up and uncomfortable for your guests, then it's time to look into guest beds. There is really no reason not to purchase one, even if money or space are limited. You are just like many of us, you enjoy having company in your home, but you don't have a lot to spend. It could be that you don't even have a spare bedroom for them to use. If any of this is true for you, it is still possible to have a bed available for overnight guests. Many guest beds are available for those looking for more affordable options. Small single bed frames are a perfect option, along with a standard grade mattress and box spring. If your bed will be used for more than one person, consider a double bed frame that will suit this purpose.
