"Dear Pete:Thanx for the ego boost with this easy one we can solve. You should have ego reparation week with easy ones like these before hitting us with hard ones lol lol! And if the easy ones are still too hard then people should retire from chess lol!"
Glad to oblige! Now, to boost your ego, we can’t make them too obvious, and that presented a problem for me...how to get just the right recipe here. I hope this mate in two is what you have in mind!
Solution:
1.Qe8+ Kxe8 2.Nd6 mate. The old double check and mate idea.
