Dave Coverly

Dave Coverly, the creative mind behind the one-panel comic "Speed Bump," claims to be depicting the outtakes from the "movie of life." His bizarre sense of humor has earned him a following in over two hundred newspapers, as well as awards ranging from Best Newspaper Panel to Best Greeting Cards. His untitled one-panel comics were featured in publications such as the "Saturday Evening Post" before being given the name "Speed Bump" and put into newspaper syndication.

Coverly has also worked as an art director and editorial cartoonist, and holds degrees in philosophy and creative writing.
