Jenny Campbell

Jenny Campbell has never been a stranger to the world of syndication, being a sixth-generation journalism after her graduation from Arizona State University in 1979. Shortly after, she began working at the Pasadena Star-News as both artist and local columnist. By 1985 she had begun drawing a weekly cartoon for the Orange County Register while working for the paper as an entertainment writer. At the age of 32, she moved to Philadelphia to begin her career as a cartoonists and illustrator. Before her collaboration with John Gibel in 2002, she had illustrated 12 children's books and contributed to many major publishers. Gibel's death in 2005 led to Campbell inheriting sole ownership of their mutual creation, "Flo and Friends."
