President Joe Biden plans to sit for another television interview Monday, this time with Lester Holt of NBC News, as he continues an effort to quell doubts about his campaign.

Biden will answer questions from Holt in Austin, Texas, where he also plans to give a speech marking the 60th anniversary of the signing of the Civil Rights Act at the Lyndon Baines Johnson Presidential Library.

NBC said it will air the entire interview unedited and in full on Monday evening.

The events will come as Republicans kick off their convention in Milwaukee, which is expected to be a coronation for former President Trump.

The only suspense at the RNC surrounds who Trump will pick to be his vice presidential candidate and when the veepstakes winner will be unveiled.

The Biden White House, on the other hand, is furiously trying to stop the political bleeding after a shaky debate with former President Trump late last month.

Biden sat down for a 22-minute interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos last Friday, but it got mixed reviews.

He’s also trying to showcase his ability to lead the nation by hosting a NATO summit and holding a press conference Thursday.

Even before the Holt interview was announced, the speech in Austin was framed as part of an effort by the Biden campaign to bolster support from Black and Latino voters.

After the Texas swing, Biden will head to Las Vegas to address an NAACP convention and a large Latino political convention.

Ironically, Rep. Lloyd Doggett of Austin was the first Democratic lawmaker to publicly call on Biden to drop out of the presidential race after the debate.

It was not clear if Doggett plans to attend the LBJ Library event or meet Biden during the trip.
