Gadgets: Portable power
Published in Science & Technology News
The need for portable power varies by user. If there is one power bank that will fit the bill for most, it's Raycon's Magic Laptop Power Bank 5-in-1, with five versatile outputs.
It has a travel-friendly compact design, 65 watts of power delivery and a rechargeable 15,000 mAh battery.
The Magic Laptop Power Bank packs a punch with its portability, and its 5-in-1 features make it stand out. These include a built-in USB-C Cable with an iOS Lightning converter, a USB-C input and output port, a USB-A output port and a 15-watt magnetic wireless charging pad for Qi-enabled devices.
With this configuration, there's almost no limit to what can be charged, including portable gaming units, smartphones, tablets, some laptops (check your needed power) and most anything charging via USB.
Another outstanding feature is the digital display, which keeps you on top of the remaining battery level in the battery itself. When a charge is needed, just fold out the built-in AC prongs for charging in any standard AC wall outlet, which supports a 100-240V AC input. The battery will also recharge with the USB-C input.
The Raycon Magic Laptop Power Bank supports pass-through charging so you charge connected devices while charging the power bank. Your devices will charge a little slower while in the pass-through mode. Multiple devices, including wired outputs, can be connected while using the wireless charging pad. The power bank will adjust the needed output for a safe charge depending on their needs, thus not overloading any device.
A rubber loop on the battery will attach to a backpack or other places as needed.

Safe charging is ensured with the charger's built-in overcurrent, overvoltage, overtemperature and short-circuit protection. Intelligent Power Allocation lets the charging adjust to a safe output based on what is being charged.
A 70-inch USB-C to USB-C cable is included. The UltimatePower 65W supports all brands, including Apple and Android. A complete compatibility chart is on the EZQuest site.
