Cat Gym - Who Doesn't Like a Trip to the Gym?

Cats love to play. If you own one you have probably seen him bouncing around your furniture or running helter-skelter through the house. This is the reason you should have a cat gym. A gym will give your pet a place to get rid of all his excess energy and mayhem.

A cat gym should provide a lot of different elements for your loving companion. There probably should be some sort of house or perch for your feline to sleep in after he has tired himself out from his workout. A good gym will have a few scratching areas for your pet placed at the most strategic spots on your gym. Your gym should also have a few limbs branching off in different directions. This will give your pet a variety of places to climb instead of just one limb. There might also be some nooks and crannies with dark hidey holes where he can hide and ambush anything that passes too close. All furry felines just love to do this.

A few toys dangling from some limbs of your cat gym are the perfect touch to round out your pets play area. The best type of gym would be a vertical one so he gets the benefit of climbing, but if your home just cannot accommodate it, you can find the horizontal cat gyms that just stretch out on the floor. No matter which model you choose, it will help your pet get rid of pent-up energy and stop him from wreaking so much havoc on your home. Besides, everybody loves a good workout, even your cat.
