'VENOM: THE LAST DANCE'

Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of violence and action, bloody images and strong language.

What it’s about: The third spin on the dance floor for Eddie Brock and his sassy symbiote sidekick sees them at Area 51 battling other aliens.

The kid attractor factor: It's a monster movie comic book character — some appeal for teens.

Good lessons/bad lessons: Friendship above all else.

Violence: Some sequences of fantasy/alien violence, some dead humans, chomping, shooting, explosions, etc.

Language: Swearing and strong language.

Sex: None

Drugs: None

Parents’ advisory: Too scary and violent for little kids. OK for older kids and teens.

'CONCLAVE'

Rated PG for thematic material and smoking.

What it’s about: A conclave of cardinals gather to elect a new pope, tangling with scandal and rumor among their ranks.

The kid attractor factor: Not much, this is an adult drama.

Good lessons/bad lessons: There is a difference between doing what is right and doing what is best for an organization — doing what is right requires courage.

Violence: References to a terrorist attack.

Language: None

Sex: References to adultery.

Drugs: Smoking and vaping.

Parents’ advisory: Not much appeal for kids or teens, but fine for them.
