BMW loves to provide power to its luxury vehicles, and this week it delivers a monster SUV to Grasso’s Garage: a 2024 BMW X5 M Competition in outstanding Santorini Blue.

For Ford Mustang lovers, Grabber Blue was the color to have back in the day, and BMW just did the unthinkable by making an almost identical color available on their top sports vehicles. Genius! Our 2024 X5 M Competition showed out very well and was exceptionally appealing.

In addition to the exclusive comfort and style of BMW SUVs, the X5 M boasted tremendous power. A 4.4-liter BMW M TwinPower Turbo V-8 engine with eBoost 48V mild hybrid technology producing 617 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque was selected for this five-seater all-wheel drive SUV. Paired with an eight-speed M Sport Automatic transmission, with launch control, the 5,425 pound monster was easily on top of its game. With a $122K base price, the X5 M Competition comes with 21- or 22-inch M Sport wheels, an array of safety features, M seat belts, four-zone climate control, massage front seats and much more. Additional features such as the Bower and Wilkins sound system, M Driver’s Package and M Compound Brakes and red calipers totaled an additional $6,550.

In the tradition of the Ultimate Driving Machine, the BMW X5 M Competition hits home again with power, luxury and style. With BMW Ultimate Care factored in for the first three years or 36,000 miles and four-year/50,000 mile warranty, making this luxury SUV a checkered flag winner. With a large price tag, those power-hungry consumers who want all-wheel drive and the ability to move people have a really good option in 2024, as the X5 M competition exceeds expectations on all levels.
