(UPI) Police in Minnesota said they are seeking to "reunite" whoever accidentally donated 4 ounces of marijuana to a second hand children's clothing store.

Maplewood Police posted a photo to Facebook showing marijuana separated into 111 bags, each containing 1 gram of cannabis, after the bags were found in a donation to local second hand store Once Upon a Child.

"If you accidentally donated 111 grams of marijuana along with your clothing earlier to a local store please come to the PD so we can reunite you! We know you spent a lot of time dividing them into these perfectly measured baggies & must be missing them," the department's post said.

Police said they are fairly confident they will be able to identify the mystery donor even if they don't come forward to claim the stash.

"When we use social media it does quickly start to give us a whole bunch of information. Sometimes it is not super helpful. But it allows us to sort through and ultimately find out who's responsible," Maplewood Police Chief Paul Schnell told WCCO-TV.

Schnell said police are also reviewing security camera footage and they have a copy of the form the person submitted when they donated the bag of clothes that contained the marijuana baggies.

"We do have a name that is associated. We don't know if that is an accurate name or not. It's something investigators will be following up with starting today," the chief said.

Police said the person who mistakenly donated the marijuana could be charged with possession and intent to distribute, since the marijuana was separated into small baggies for apparent sale.
