This sparkling finish is from the game Korchnoi-Petersons, Kiev, 1965. The winner is still playing great chess today!
Solution:
The first check is easy. Give yourself a pat on the back if you saw the queen sacrifice leading to what we call the epaulette mate—the king can't move not only because of the rook and knight, but his own two pieces on either shoulder—like epaulettes! 1.Qg7+ Ke8 2.Qxe7+ Kxe7 3.Rg7+ Ke8 4.Nf6#
