It's "Announce the Winner Day" for our readers! The Cash Prize winner is David Levin of Murphy, North Carolina who beat out "Nathan" (who gets a consolation prize: Nathan send us your full name and address!) by several days. The solution is in the archive under "Cash Prize Problem." We thank everyone who sent an entry in, and the success of this contest means we'll have another sometime!

Today's problem is from a game Suba-Sax, 1993. Black wraps the game up rather quickly. See if you can do the same!

Solution:

1...Qxa3 2.Bc3 [2.bxa3 Rb1#; 2.Bb4 Rxb4 3.Rdf1 Qa1+ 4.Kd2 Rxb2#] 2...Bxc3 3.Bxf7+ Kh8 4.Rd2 Qa1#
