Scarlett Johansson is fulfilling a "dream" by co-hosting 'Jenna and Friends'.

The 40-year-old actress is currently co-hosting the NBC show alongside Jenna Bush Hager, and Scarlett has revealed that she's relishing the experience.

The Hollywood star told PEOPLE: "It's a complete dream.

"I was saying to Jenna earlier, it's like that thing that I imagined as a ten-year-old: Some day I'm going to be on a daytime show and meet all of these amazing people."

Scarlett - who is married to comedian Colin Jost - has also admitted to being amazed by the show's reach.

The 'Black Widow' star said: "I've literally walked down the street and have gotten more traction from guest hosting the 'Today' show than any other project that I've done!"

Scarlett has loved the "good vibe" on the show's set.

She shared: "I've done obviously morning shows and whatever for years and years, publicising projects I worked on and whatever, [but] it's always so fun to come on this show. And the opportunity to be on this show for an hour and get to know more people at the show? It's just awesome.

"It's like, 'Oh, yeah, we're doing a fun thing. This is an upbeat thing.'"

Meanwhile, Jenna recently revealed that she was looking forward to working with Scarlett.

The 43-year-old TV star observed that she has "so much in common" with her current co-host.

Jenna told PEOPLE: "Scarlett Johansson is the queen!

"First of all, I've been obsessed with her movies since forever. The 'Girl with a Pearl Earring', I mean that shows you I'm a nerd who loves to read. She's also a big reader, which will be so much fun. We have so much in common."
