Conner Floyd is engaged to Carly Frei.

The 'Young and The Restless' actor proposed to the skincare expert in her hometown of Boston on Saturday (21.12.24) after four years of dating, and though it was hard to persuade her to get out into the snow for an idyllic moment, he was relieved she agreed and they later celebrated with their loved ones.

Conner told People magazine: "Carly is the love of my life.

"She means the world to me, and I really wanted to make this special for her ...

"The Boston Commons was covered with snow and the perfect venue for the proposal.

"It was a struggle to get her to walk through the park in 25-degree weather, but we made it happen."

In an Instagram post by the pair shared on both their accounts, Carly showed off the pearl-cut diamond ring that sat on a split gold band as she rested her hand on the 32-year-old actor's right cheek.

It was "important" for Conner to fly his own family out to Boston from Austin, Texas, to celebrate with him, Carly and her loved ones.

He said: "I'll never forget the face she made after dropping to a knee and then surprising her with a massive party with our friends and families ...

"We are huge family people, so having both of our families together was important.

"Carly is from Boston, so the city has such a special place in her heart and being there with all our loved ones I know meant so much to her ...

"Carly is my best girl.

"She's done so much for me, and I wanted this to be a day that we remember forever.

"I have truly been blessed in life to have a such a special person like Carly by my side.

"She's my best friend and I'd literally do anything for her."

Many people left comments under his Instagram post to congratulate the happy couple.

His sister Gina wrote: "Sweetest addition to our family EVER! Love you to the moon Carly!"
