'My email is fuller than it was': Adam Brody getting more offers following Nobody Wants This success
Published in Entertainment News
Adam Brody has received a "lot of interesting" offers following the success of 'Nobody Wants This'.
The 45-year-old actor stars opposite Kristen Bell in the Netflix series and although it was only released in September, he admitted its popularity has already had an impact on his career.
He told The Hollywood Reporter: "I've gotten a lot of interesting stuff. My email is fuller than it was."
Adam - who plays rabbi Noah in the series - hasn't yet seen scripts for the second season and doesn't want to just yet as he is keen to think about other projects first.
He said: "I haven't read [scripts]. I don't know, and I kind of don't want to know, just because if I know, I'll start working on it in my head, and I don't want to."
But the former 'O.C.' actor isn't sure what his next acting venture will be, though he hopes it would be different in tone to 'Nobody Wants This'.
He said: "If I'm looking to not do something, it's probably nothing that is too similar to the show.
"Other than that, quality of writing is a precious jewel and anything well-written, anyone would be lucky to do it."
While Adam may not be ready to "start working on it in [his] head," he had "such a good time" shooting the first season.
He said: "It sounds cheesy, but it was so fun to film. It was so fun to make actually, and it was such a good time with a good group of people that to now be here celebrating it after the fact is an embarrassment of riches."
Adam previously admitted the success of the show had come as a "pleasant surprise".
He told People magazine: "I knew that we had something that worked, but I had no idea the sort of wide swath of people that would enjoy it. That has been an absolute pleasant surprise.
"I've been doing this a long time, and it doesn't happen often, whoever you are. So it's very gratifying and exciting."
