Jerry Seinfeld and Jim Gaffigan announce 2025 arena tour
Published in Entertainment News
SAN DIEGO — Two comedians walk into an arena. Or, in the case of Jerry Seinfeld and Jim Gaffigan, make that 10 arenas.
The veteran comics are hitting the road for a 2025 joint tour that will see them perform in 10 cities in the U.S. and Canada. The itinerary includes a San Diego date on March 27 that is the only California date on the tour.
Seinfeld and Gaffigan are both multiple Emmy Award winners. They previously teamed up for a six-city arena tour in 2023. It included two performances in San Francisco and one in Los Angeles. None of the cities on that tour are included in the duo’s 2025 itinerary.
The 2025 tour was announced Monday and both comedians issued statements about their upcoming jaunt.
“I will never rest in helping this struggling comedian Jerry Stein-Seinfeld until he is a household name,” Gaffigan quipped.
Seinfeld had a retort at the ready: “Jim is one of the best comedians I know,” he said, “especially if all you want is to do shows and eat. Can’t wait to hit the road together.”
The tour will open Jan. 10 at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto and conclude March 28 at Footprint Center in Phoenix.
The laughs won’t be cheap. Ticket prices for Seinfeld and Gaffigan’s San Diego performances are priced from $92.51 to $627.
Tickets for all 10 cities in the 2025 go on sale to the general public Friday at 10 a.m. local time.
An artist presale will begin Wednesday, Sept. 25, at 10 a.m., followed by a local San Diego presale at 10 a.m. Thursday. Information on both presales and the Friday general public on-sale is available at: axs.com/events/671109/jerry-seinfeld-jim-gaffigan-tickets?skin=pasd
