A picture of Barron Trump, 18, voting for the first time goes viral

Barron Trump showed up on Election Day Tuesday to help inch his father Donald Trump closer to the White House.
The NYU freshman’s mother Melania Trump shared a picture of the six-foot-seven 18 year old from the back, filling in the bubbles hunched over a polling booth.
“Voted for the first time,” the incoming first lady wrote in a post on X, formerly Twitter. “For his dad!”
The post racked up more than 12 million views in about 12 hours.
It’s unclear where Barron, who turned legal age in March, did his civic duty. But it’s likely the same place where his parents were seen voting in the morning — the Morton and Barbara Mandel Recreation Center in West Palm Beach.
The young man was not photographed there, but later stood on stage with them at Trump election headquarters at the Palm Beach County Convention Center as results were trickling in.
We get that Melania was duly proud of her only child, but the native Slovenian may not have realized that taking a snap of someone voting is technically a no-no in the Sunshine State.
“No photography is permitted in the polling room or early voting area,” reads Florida Statute 102.031 (5). “Except an elector may photograph his or her own ballot.”
Sharing an “I Voted!” sticker on Barron’s lapel probably would have sufficed, just saying.
Hours later, No. 45 became No. 47 after defeating Vice President Kamala Harris with 277 electoral votes, more than the 270 needed to win.
