MLB: Boston 7, N.Y. Yankees 3

NEW YORK (UPI) -- Jeff Bailey and Jason Bay each drove in two runs Tuesday, powering the Boston Red Sox' 7-3 victory over the New York Yankees.

Coco Crisp was 3-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored for the Red Sox, who have won five of their last seven games. Jacoby Ellsbury and Kevin Youkilis each drove in a run for Boston.

Boston starter Tim Wakefield (8-8) lasted five innings and allowed all three New York runs on eight hits. Jonathan Papelbon recorded the final four outs for his 34th save of the season.

Johnny Damon had two solo homers for the Yankees, who saw their three- game win streak come to a halt. Jose Molina drove in the other run for New York.

Losing pitcher Andy Pettitte (13-10) gave up six runs on 10 hits in 4 2/3 innings.
