Cadillac Williams out for six weeks

TAMPA, Fla. (UPI) -- The Tampa Bay Buccaneers placed running back Carnell "Cadillac" Williams on the physically unable to perform list Tuesday.

The move assures Williams will be out of action for the regular season's first six weeks.

Williams was sidelined at the beginning of training camp due to a knee injury he suffered in 2007.

The fourth-year Auburn product has gone steadily downhill since rushing for 1,178 yards and six touchdowns in his rookie campaign. He played in only four games last season, gaining 208 yards and scoring three touchdowns, before suffering a season-ending knee injury.
