Packers' DT Harrell to miss six weeks

GREEN BAY, Wis. (UPI) -- Green Bay Packers defensive tackle Justin Harrell was placed on the physically unable to perform list Monday and will miss six weeks of the season.

The 6-foot-4, 310-pound former University of Tennessee standout did not play in any of the Packers' first three pre-season games.

Harrell will be unable to practice with the team during the first six weeks of the season. After that, he will be allowed to practice with the team through Week 10. If not activated by that time, he must stop practicing and cannot play for the duration of the season.

The Packers' first-round selection in 2007, Harrell had 16 tackles for Green Bay, which made it all the way to the NFC Championship game.
