MLS: New York 3, Houston 0

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (UPI) -- Juan Pablo Angel, Dane Richards and Mike Magee scored goals Sunday for the New York Red Bulls in a 3-0 Major League Soccer win over Houston.

New York (8-6-7), in winning its third straight match, ended a four-match winning streak by the Dynamo (8-5-8).

Angel scored his eighth goal of the season in the eighth minute, heading home a pass from Dave van den Bergh. Richards fired a shot inside the near post in the 26th minute and Magee hit the net in the 60th minute with his third goal in three matches.

New York goalkeeper Jon Conway has kept opponents scoreless six times this season.
