CHICAGO (UPI) -- The Art Institute of Chicago is offering up a room for rent in one of Vincent Van Gogh's iconic paintings.

The school has created a replica of Van Gogh's "Bedroom in Aries" as part of its celebration of Van Gogh's bedroom paintings and have made the room available to rent via Airbnb.

"This room will make you feel like you're living in a painting. It's decorated in a Post-Impressionist style, reminiscent of Southern France and times gone by," the description on Airbnb states. Its furniture, bright colors, and artwork will give you the experience of a lifetime.

It is available to rent for $10 a night with a one-night minimum stay as explained in the details written from the perspective of Van Gogh himself.

"I'm charging $10 for no other reason than that I need to buy paint," it states. However, I will be happy to provide you with tickets to my exhibition at the Art Institute of Chicago.

The listing states that the room can accommodate two people and features a "real bed." Check-in time is 4 p.m., with check-out at 11 a.m. the following day. All guests are required to sign a waiver before renting.

The "Van Gogh's Bedrooms" exhibit will open on Feb. 14 and run through May 10 with the room available for rent throughout the duration.

Amanda Hicks of the Art Institute told ABC 7 that she hopes a stay in the room will be inspirational for any guests who spend the night.

"We're hoping that people who stay in the room will be inspired by their surroundings to share that experience through social media," she said. We hope that everyone who stays there will all be inspired by the experience to then come to the museum and see a more nuanced and deeper look at Van Gogh's life in France.
