NEW YORK — Mötley Crüe singer Vince Neil fell headfirst at an Atlantic City concert last week kicking off the band’s highly anticipated return to the stage.

Neil’s face-plant occurred minutes into the start of the “Too Young to Fall in Love” band’s Dogs of War tour, according to Ultimate Classic Rock.

Neil, 63, took a spill while prancing across the the Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena stage while performing Mötley Crüe’s 1987 tune “Wild Side.”

He reportedly bounced back quickly and didn’t miss a beat before continuing the weekend performance.

The Los Angeles hit-makers played together for more than 30 years before completing the final show of its supposed farewell tour in December 2015. But they dusted off their leather pants and hit the road with fellow 1980s hit-makers Def Leppard for 2022’s Stadium Tour.

Mötley Crüe was back in action Friday night, reportedly performing a 14-song set that included hair metal classics “Too Fast for Love,” “Dr. Feelgood” and “Same Ol’ Situation.”

Friday’s spill on the boardwalk was hardly Neil’s worst.

The singer took a tumble during a 2021 solo show that sent him to a Tennessee hospital with broken ribs. His guitar player told the stunned audience at that show how Neil, who lived in Tennessee at the time, was also disappointed he couldn’t continue the concert.

Neil was playing Motley Crue’s 1989 hit “Don’t Go Away Mad (Just Go Away)” when that fall happened at the Monsters on the Mountain festival. He fell “off the stage” during an otherwise smooth performance, according to an event organizer.

Mötley Crüe will be back in action Thursday when they play Daytona Beach, Florida. East Coasters can catch them again in August at Connecticut’s Mohegan Sun Arena.
